As previously gushed, here and elsewhere, we love live music. And we really love it when live music and work collide. One of our all-time favorite of these collisions is our repeated co-sponsorship of the pre-jam party for the Annual Warren Haynes Christmas Jam, a music benefit supporting Habitat for Humanity. As we have the last couple of years, we will again be sharing food service for this awesome night with the friendly folks at Luella’s BBQ.
We generally provide some of our southern hors d’oeuvres and handmade sweets to complement their yummy barbecue dinner items, and this year will be no exception. BUT this year we will be featuring a new favorite, The Appalachian Antipasto Station. Many of you have experienced the fabulous-ness of our Old South Bruschetta Bar. This is definitely in that same vein-a southern twist on an Old World classic-think, tailgate snacks on vacation in Italy. But the Antipasto platter is even more man-friendly, highlighting numerous varieties of cured meats, local smoked trout and sausages with various house chutneys and sauces. But we do not neglect our vegetarian friends or you well-behaved dieters, as we have included plenty of roasted and marinated veggies, hummus options and local goat cheese.
We hope to see a lot of you stuffing your faces at the pre-jam December 9!
Otherwise, put in your Holiday orders for the Appalachian Antipasto now!
