We catered a gorgeous wedding reception Saturday evening for  Josie and Andrew at Castle Ladyhawke, just outside of Cullowhee. It was one of those picture perfect fall days…bright blue sky, crisp air, the mountains ablaze with yellow, orange and red. Add to the setting the uniquely gorgeous decor and flowers, the fantastic coordinating and event execution of the ladies at Occasions by Emily, the delicious menu and friendly staff, and the day was pretty much a fairytale.

The guests enjoyed a sunset cocktail hour while noshing on our highly touted and anticipated pecan crusted chicken tenders along with some assorted cheese tarts.  After introductions and dances all were treated to two gorgeously appointed spreads offering treats like our Old South Bruschetta and the best sliced beef tenderloin on the planet.

Putting the icing on the culinary indulgences were the cutest cupcakes we have ever seen, arranged in a fun, whimsical and festive tower. But the highlight of the evening had to be the groom’s cake.  Tiffany, you outdid yourself !
